Visiting faculty at the AAP NYC center are comprised of a distinguished list of New York City-based scholars, critics, architects, urban planners, and artists — all engaged in the city's communities and institutions, and experts in using the city as a resource for instruction and inspiration. Additionally, Cornell faculty from the architecture, art, and city and regional planning departments in Ithaca often teach classes or participate in New York City-based programming over the course of the year. The AAP NYC center faculty vary by semester.
