Cathy Lang Ho is the Deputy Director of the Gensler Family AAP NYC Center, where she organizes programs that support academics, alumni engagement, and career development, including free public lectures, field trips, walking tours, and studio visits. She directs communications and outreach strategies to boost the visibility of the NYC program. She also supervises student staff members, who document AAP NYC activities through photography, social media, and exhibitions. With Executive Director Robert Balder, she manages daily operations to effectively meet the Center’s strategic objectives. 

She worked previously in architecture and design publishing, as an editor at Design Book Review, Architecture magazine, founder and editor-in-chief of The Architect’s Newspaper, and longtime contributing editor to Architect magazine. She has published hundreds of articles in international publications, including the New York Times, Metropolis, ID Magazine, Blueprint, Domus, Abitare, Arquitecture y Viva, and others.

She has worked on a wide range of endeavors, including Harvard GSD’s Wheelwright Prize and Richard Rogers Fellowship, the Vilcek Prize’s architecture cycle, and the University of New Mexico’s On the Brinck Book Prize.
