The first studies explored the direct result of impact on aluminum and clay: form recording force. To test the relationship, ambient field conditions were incorporated into the digital and material studies, experimenting with a recursive relationship: form produces reactive forces.

Using these studies, a script was built using a catalyst event to produce forms that register direct impact as well as gradient conditions from the following reactive forces.

The proposal articulates the seed event as a car's path on the Brooklyn waterfront site. The event path creates direct resultant forms: five theaters, and the reactive condition: a parking garage in an occupiable microstructure.
