Reed Huegerich
Reed Huegerich is a practicing planner who focuses on transportation and the environment. He has worked at Cornell University since 2015, both in the Campus Planning Office and now in the Department of Transportation and Delivery Services as the Assistant Director. Prior to his time at Cornell, Huegerich was a land use and transportation planner for the Town of Apex in North Carolina, where he worked to improve the neighborhoods and greenways in an otherwise car-dominated suburb of Raleigh. He received his B.A. in History in 2004 and his M.C.R.P. in 2008, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Huegerich lives in Ithaca with his wife, three kids, and dog Oak, and he enjoys his beautiful commute along the edge of the Cascadilla Gorge.
