The world is evolving at a fast pace, and I appreciate Cornell’s recognition of architecture as a global practice.
Why did you choose Cornell and AAP?
I believe in architecture’s capacity to change the world and I know Cornell AAP will provide me with the resources necessary to achieve it. The world is evolving at a fast pace, and I appreciate Cornell’s recognition of architecture as a global practice. Specifically, I admire their efforts into developing leaders who will address critical issues in a rapidly changing world.
What do you hope to accomplish during your time at AAP and after graduation?
Cornell believes in the potential of their students and their vision for a better future. My goal is to return to Ecuador and become a practicing architect who is conscious of the enormous impact that design decisions have on the environment. I want to revolutionize the architecture in Latin America by applying more conscious design practices and optimizing sustainable construction methods.
