Student Essentials

You also will find the final exam schedule and learn how to order a transcript, update your personal information in Student Center, check account balances, and view your financial aid award.
AAP Name Pronunciation Tool
Correctly pronouncing each other's names is about respect and fostering an environment of inclusion, care, and belonging. The AAP Name Pronunciation Tool allows students, faculty, and staff to record their own names through our online platform. Name recordings will only be available to members of the AAP community and can be accessed at any time. To begin recording your name, please log into the portal using the link below with your netid and password.
Internal transfer or concurrent degrees
Students considering an internal transfer or concurrent degree should first contact the AAP director of undergraduate admissions.

Financial Matters
Direct Deposit
There are several ways in which Cornell students may set up direct deposit.
- If you are a student employee and want your paycheck deposited into your bank account, you can enroll in Payroll Direct Deposit.
- If money from awards, grants, scholarships, and loans exceeds the amount you owe on your bursar bill, the bursar authorizes direct deposit or a refund check. Registered, full-time, undergraduate, graduate, and professional students can have student refunds, assistantship stipends, and fellowship stipends deposited directly into a bank account by arranging Bursar Direct Deposit.
- If you are seeking reimbursement, Cornell University processes non-payroll payments through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system. To sign up to receive nonpayroll payments by direct deposit, you must complete the Accounts Payable ACH Authorization form, which is only accessible to individuals with a valid Cornell NetID.
Reimbursement
Students requesting reimbursement from an AAP account must complete the AAP Payment/Reimbursement form. To have your reimbursement deposited directly into your bank account, you must complete the Accounts Payable ACH Authorization form.
