Abstract

The contemporary landscapes of increasing socio-political, economic, and environmental shifts bring the changing conditions and manifestations of belonging to the fore. Through recent projects of N H D M, Nahyun Hwang will discuss precarious yet agent spaces of mobile subjects and emergent notions of kinships and communality in the milieu and explore the possibilities of new migrant futurity that may challenge the past hegemonies of racialization, colonialism, and anthropocentrism.

Hwang will deliver this lecture remotely. Audience attendance is in-person only.
