The stage set was designed for The Human Voice play to be performed in the First Floor Theatre of La MaMa in New York City. The project introduced a continuous ramp from an earlier project and further developed it into a transformable system. The transformation of the ramp was triggered by the emotional fluctuations of the actress. The different state of the ramp was able to serve as different stage props. Moreover, its drastic transformation encouraged the actress to interact with it and provoke the emotional change of the audiences.
