Vanessa Roveto

Vanessa Roveto is the author of the poetry books bodys (University of Iowa Press, 2016) and a women (Iowa, 2020). Her third book of poetry, Mulholland Dive, is forthcoming from Clash Books (2025). Her first novella, The Valley (a void), was published in 2023 with SPBH/ITI. She holds an M.F.A. in Film/Video from UCSD and an M.F.A. in poetry from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Roveto has been a Visiting Professor of Poetry at the Iowa Writers' Workshop and has received a MacDowell Fellowship.
