It is clear that every student at AAP shares a drive and passion for their major.

Why did you choose Cornell and AAP?

I loved Cornell from my first visit. Aside from the beautiful campus and facilities, it is clear that every student at AAP shared a drive and passion for their major. The architecture program, in particular, attracted me because of its ideal size, impressive student work, and reputation for producing innovative designers.

What are your extracurricular interests and how have you incorporated them into your college life?

In high school, I was part of my school's track and field team, a member of design club, a visual arts editor of the literary magazine, and was on a crew for the theater program. I also volunteered at my local art museum and library and was part of the ACE mentor program.

What do you hope to accomplish during your time at AAP and after graduation?

I hope to grow as an artist and designer, and learn to think critically about the world around me. I want to become an architect that focuses on urban housing solutions and sustainable development, and I am sure that Cornell AAP will give me the tools to do so.
