When I visited, AAP stressed that it creates a class of individuals from different backgrounds who all bring something different to the table. That really resonated with me, and no other program had stressed anything similar.

Why did you choose Cornell and AAP?

I was immediately drawn to Cornell after my first visit. I loved everything about the campus and Ithaca. It felt like the perfect mix of nature and town with the beautiful gorges going right through the middle of campus. I also felt like Cornell was the perfect size for me. After touring Milstein Hall and seeing all that AAP had to offer, I knew I could envision myself at Cornell more than anywhere else. When I visited, AAP stressed that it creates a class of individuals from different backgrounds who all bring something different to the table. That really resonated with me, and no other program had stressed anything similar. Lastly, the prestige of the program and the professors was a huge point of interest for me.
