Francesca Romana Patrizi
Francesca Romana Patrizi is a teacher of Italian as a foreign and second language, educational trainer, and director of LIT School.
After graduating in Japanese and English from Sapienza University in Rome, she moved to Japan, where she began teaching Italian. Back in Italy, she worked first as an in-person teacher and then as a student coordinator and head of extracurricular activities, teaching coordinator, and department director at Dilit International House, Italiaidea, Byron Tree School of Languages. From 2015 onward, she began collaborating with various institutions, including Icon University Consortium and Dante Alighieri Society, as an Item writer for official language certification exams.
In her years of teaching, she has had students from all over the world and with specific needs; she has worked for religious institutions, embassies, and American universities, including Dartmouth College, Rhode Island School of Design, Chicago University, Tulane University, University of Notre Dame Rome-and multinational companies.
In 2020, she founded LIT School, which offers courses in Italian for foreigners and training in specific teaching techniques for Italian teachers, public schools, and other institutions.
Francesca loves to travel with a backpack, has no car, rides a bicycle, and occasionally does yoga.
