Steven D. Garcia
Steven D. Garcia is an associate principal at SHoP and has played an integral role in the design and delivery of high-profile projects globally, bringing an expertise in performance-driven processes to placemaking for several of the firm's leading planning and design projects, including the Botswana Innovation Hub, Fulbright University Vietnam, The Brooklyn Tower, master plans for LaGuardia and JFK Airports in New York, and multiple large-scale tech campuses and innovation districts in Washington, California, and Florida. Through his work at SHoP, he advocates for models advancing the social performance of the built environment, leveraging technology to promote resilience and responsibility through active engagement with complex consortia of stakeholders. He has taught an interoperable design approach at several leading institutions and is a registered architect in New York.
