Welcome to our Summer 2022 Virtual Open House for Architecture prospective students!
We have crafted a program of personal learning experiences on the built environment which we believe will both stimulate and challenge. In the six weeks you spend in Ithaca this summer, we will expose you to new ways of seeing and thinking about architecture. We will introduce you to both digital and analog forms of representation and expose you to the creative design processes that allow architects to shape and control the build environment. We will be working in the architecture studios in Milstein Hall, designed by world-renowned architect, Pritzker Prize winner Rem Koolhaas.
We are delighted to be able to share a video of our live virtual open house from April 2nd, 2022 with an introduction by our department chair, Caroline O'Donnell, and led by Assistant Professor and summer program faculty lead, Luben Dimcheff. The open house includes program overviews, faculty introductions, highlights of students work, admissions workshop information from Admissions Director, Maureen Carroll, and interviews of past Introduction to Architecture students who have matriculated into our programs.
