Office of Communications
The AAP Office of Communications establishes and stewards the college brand, visual identity, editorial style and voice, and produces materials that advance the college's mission and goals using print and electronic platforms. The communications team is responsible for the Cornell AAP website, the bi-weekly newsletter, and various other printed and electronic information.
The communications office assists college departments and units with their communications needs through editorial support, photography, graphic design consultation, web content management system training, social media training and support, and other capacity building.
Brand Guidelines and Downloadable Logos
Members of the AAP community can download college, department, and unit logos, and access fonts, color palettes, and photo tips from the AAP Brand Guidelines webpage.
Editorial Style Guide
AAP uses The Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition. The full guide can be accessed online from anywhere on campus. The communications office distributes a shorter, college-specific Editorial Style Guide. For citation creation, we recommend Citefast; and for grammar and spell-check in the web interface, we recommend installing the Grammarly extension.
