Walter Fasano is a film editor, screenwriter, director, and composer best known for his artistic partnership with director Luca Guadagnino. Besides editing almost all of the Sicilian director's movies, the two also codirected the documentary Bertolucci on Bertolucci (2013) and collaborated with James Ivory on the screenplay for the Oscar-winning Chiamami col tuo nome (Call Me by Your Name, 2017) for which Fasano won many awards and nominations. He has also edited films for Dario Argento, Park Chan-Wook, and Damiano and Fabio D'Innocenzo.
In 2020, his documentary Pino, about Italian artist Pino Pascali, won Best Italian Documentary at the Torino Film Festival and is currently screened in art galleries and film festivals all over the world.
