Keith Obadike is an artist and composer. He serves as chair and professor in the Department of Communication at William Paterson University. His creative work is done collaboratively with his partner Mendi Obadike. They were part of an early wave of artists in the United States pioneering internet art. Their early projects have been recognized in exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and the Whitechapel Gallery of London. They currently create sound installations for public spaces including Times Square, The New School's University Center, the Chicago Cultural Center, and Philadelphia's Tindley Temple. They have released recordings with The New Museum, Wave Farm, Bridge Records, and artists' books with 1913 Press.
