Yu Wu is receiving both his Master of Regional Planning and Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell. His design passion lies in urban-based projects, investigating how landscapes participate in daily urban life and what kinds of activities they can foster. His research ethos is "right to the city," where he strives to establish spatial equity in urban development.

At Cornell, Yu received several recognitions, including a Student Project Award from the Upstate New York Chapter of the American Planning Association for his involvement in the Lakewood, Ohio Urban Design Workshop taught in 2018. Yu was also part of the Cornell team that became a finalist in the ULI Hines Urban Design Competition in 2020.
