Katherine Qian

Throughout her work, Katherine Qian pursues a highly visual form of computational design. She combines scripting, rendering, and material research as part of a generative process to produce technologically innovative, geometrically complex, and experientially beautiful projects. This applies to both her academic studies and research at Cornell, as well as her personal architectural practice working with firms in Seattle, New York City, and Paris. Professionally, Katherine has a strong passion for designing cultural and mixed-use projects but is always looking to expand her experience and skillset.
