Given a railroad oilcan as a muse, this semester-long exploration in "making" and "drawing" blurred the boundary between object and architecture. These explorations focused around the ideas in which the manipulation of mass can be used to define space. An examination of surface indentation and its effect on the interior volume of the can, generated the pin vessel in which rods of equal length are then manipulated. The final dwelling uses the displacement of mass to carve an interior space of light and shadow.
