Daniel (Ye Chan) Park

A man with dark brown hair, wearing a white long sleeve shirt.

I am a designer and an environmental performance researcher from Ellicott City, Maryland. As a Hunter R. Rawlings III Cornell Presidential Research Scholar, I have been conducting research on daylighting evaluation in residential architecture with Assistant Professor Timur Dogan (AAP Environmental Systems Lab), and authoring and coauthoring a number of conference and journal papers. I have also had the pleasure of serving multiple terms as the student representative of the undergraduate architecture class of 2020 and have participated in a number of faculty, chair, and dean search committees. I also served as co-president of the student-led publication, ASSOCIATION; and I am the cofounder and director of the department sustainability initiative in the Department of Architecture. I will be starting as a junior environmental specialist at Kohn Pederson Fox in New York City this June, guiding project teams on sustainability and occupant comfort strategies and propelling the firm's commitment to the AIA 2030 Challenge.
