Paulo David

Paulo David, born in 1959 in Funchal, Madeira, is the founder of Paulo David Arquitectos. He was a project consultant for the Historical Centre Proposals in Funchal's City Hall from 1995 to 2002, a visiting professor at Madeira University in art and design from 2001 to 2004, and in civil engineering from 2006 to 2009. David has been an invited professor at several universities with special relevance: at École d'Architecture de Nancy for an architecture workshop in 2010, at Universidade de Sassari in Alghero for the II Master Internazionale di Livello in Waterscape in 2014, at Universidad Nebrija in Madrid for the Máster Universitario en Arquitectura from 2013 to 2015, at Escola de Arquitectura of Universidade Católica in Santiago Chile for the Workshop Arquitectura Santiago in 2015, and at Scuola di Architettura Urbanistica Ingegneria delle Construzioni by Politecnico di Milano in Milan in 2016. David's architecture degree was completed in 1989 at Faculdade de Arquitectura, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa.
