Exhibition Abstract

The World is Yours is an exhibition displaying the work of Cornell's greatest comic artist, Zac Scandura (B.F.A. '24), over the years. The work ranges from his high-school webcomic, King Zevon, to pages of his newest works that are still in development, along with all the pieces in between that led him to where he is today. This includes various solo comics depicting his life, many pieces about specific characters Scandura has developed over the years, and much more. The pieces are also accompanied by notes from Scandura himself discussing his views on these works in retrospect and where he was during the creation of these pieces.

Exhibitor Biography

Zac Scandura is a comic artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Scandura had created both drawings and stories his entire life. After falling in love with various American comics and Japanese manga at a very early age, he made it his goal to create works both as a way to grow as a person and to create works for younger people who may have been struggling in the same way he was.
