Paloma Vianey: Not Made in Mexico
Not Made in Mexico is an exhibition that challenges the contemporary standard perception of the U.S.–Mexico border. The body of work in the show attempts to represent the idea of unity, but also emphasize the physicality and disruptive presence of borders.
Paloma Vianey (M.F.A. '21) is an artist from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Having resided most of her entire life on the borderlands, she focuses her artwork on the experiential contradictions found at the U.S.–Mexico border.
