The works shown in So It Goes were created by Cici Liu (B.F.A.  '24) to recreate her childhood in art form without speaking out in words. She tries to use a childlike narrative and cultural symbolism to tell stories while grasping at her culture as an adult. She tries to make peace with the narratives she ignored as a child and the realities of her family, immigration, culture, and self-discovery. So It Goes shows a visual representation of a storybook without words, where no censorship is allowed and pure imagination takes over.
