Gerville Larsen (B.Arch. '88), architect and cultural steward of the Virgin Islands, dies at 59
Radio station WTJX announced that Gerville passed away on October 29, 2025, after decades working as an architect and historic preservationist on his home island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.

Graham Foundation Announces 2025 Grants to Individuals
The Graham Foundation has awarded 42 new grants to individuals whose projects advance interdisciplinary ideas in architecture and design. Among the recipients are members of the AAP community: Nathan Friedman (B.Arch. '08), CRP faculty Thomas J. Campanella, Architecture faculty Farzin Lotfi-Jam and Kevin Harrington (M.A. '75, Ph.D. HAUD '81).
Art Professor and Chair Paul Ramírez Jonas and alumna Nina Cooke John (B.Arch. '95) have been named finalists for a National Memorial Project honoring Congressman William H. Gray III in Philadelphia. They are among five artists invited to present full proposals to the Memorial Advisory Committee and community stakeholders on July 22, 2025.
