19/Nineteen is an exhibition by Alexa Kanarowski (B.F.A. '22) documenting the period starting on October 10th 2019 and ending a year later. Conducted as an exploration of the number 19 and the changing of the decade, this project captures our descent into a global pandemic as well as individual trajectories throughout the course of the year. A photograph was taken every day for a year, as well as every hour on the 19th day of the month. This exhibition was funded in part by Cornell Council for the Arts, and will be on display at the Johnson Museum from April 5th to 9th.

The Herbert F. Johnson Museum is available to Cornell students, faculty, and staff authorized to be on campus per Cornell's current campus policy. If possible, please call to make an appointment to view the exhibition at (607) 255-6464, and use the side entrance (Gussman Wing) to enter the museum; the main entrance (Appel Lobby) is closed due to construction.
