This form is for AAP alumni only. This is not the official interview request form for applicants.
An interview is an application component for all three of our undergraduate AAP programs, so we are looking to grow our network of interested and excited alumni interviewers! If you graduated from one of the AAP programs listed on the form below and would like to conduct virtual interviews of AAP applicants in your geographic area, please fill out the form below. More information on the interview component for each department is provided below.
The Department of Architecture requires a portfolio interview for every applicant to the B.Arch. program. Since the interview is a required component of the B.Arch. application, we offer applicants the option to interview with either a faculty member from the architecture department or with an alumnus from either the B.Arch. or M.Arch. program. The purpose of the interview is to explore an applicant's interest in architecture and to understand how that interest developed. A formal portfolio does not need to be presented, but interviewees are told to show samples of their work. All interviews will be conducted virtually!
A portfolio interview is strongly recommended but not required to apply to the Department of Art. The portfolio interview offers the opportunity to personally present work and discuss it with a faculty member in the art department or an alumni from the BFA program. A formal portfolio does not need to be presented, but interviewees are expected to show samples of their work. All interviews will be conducted virtually!
The Department of City and Regional Planning offers alumni interviews for applicants to the B.S. URS program. The interview is not required but will act as an opportunity for applicants to become better informed about the undergraduate program in urban and regional studies and also express their interest in planning. All interviews will be conducted virtually!
