We are thrilled at the prospect of seeing you here in Ithaca as a student in August. At this time, however, we are working with all admitted students to ensure that the university's travel and events policies designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are properly observed. Unfortunately, this means that the Department of Architecture cannot host you and your peers for the open house event we had originally planned in Ithaca on April 6.

Instead, we are putting together a virtual event for the same day, so please stay tuned for more information about specific times and a link to the event. Although there is nothing like seeing the campus in person on a beautiful spring day, we are looking forward to capturing the unique spirit of our community in a new format.

Our program prides itself on fostering your unique trajectory through architectural education, and to that end, we would like to ask you to send Cindy Bowman, Graduate Programs Coordinator (chb77@cornell.edu), any questions you would like us to answer during the web-based open house. Please send any questions by Monday, March 30, 11:59 p.m. EST.

While the Cornell community remains at low risk of exposure, we thank you for your understanding as we adjust our plans this semester to prioritize the health and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff in Ithaca.
