The Sunshine Village Project,  named after a mobile home community in South Florida, aims to shed light on the devastating effects of tropical storms on low-income communities. With the help of a camera, I delve into themes of memory, alienation, religion, and poverty to uncover beauty amidst the struggle of my community. My photographs offer a personal exploration of my experiences as a first-generation immigrant and member of a low-income community, and their connection to the ongoing political and climatic crisis.
