Jackson Chapin: Perimeter

This event has passed.

Abstract sculpture of a white square with red grid lines across it and two nails sticking out of the corner.

Pen (2021), sculpture composited digitally.

Perimeter focuses on 2D composition and plotting the workspace. The works come from an intentionally aerial perspective in order to map spaces. By flattening, works are set backwards and fuse with the matrix of the workspace. I am interested in understanding a space's character by flattening it.

Perimeter features new work by Jackson Chapin (B.F.A. '24).
