Exhibition Abstract
The archivist is coming to Tjaden's Experimental Gallery. Vault is a collection of every letter Isa Goico (B.F.A. '24) has received in their lifetime. The archivist will sort the paper scraps, receipts, and bus passes that found their way into Goico's history. With more than 300 individual writings, Vault is a love letter to love letters. How do we hold memory in physical space? What happens when you step into someone else's story? Love and gratitude and sympathy and grief and yearning on 15 years of Hallmark cards.
