Welcome parents! We are so excited you have chosen to apply to be a part of AAP's Parent Ambassador program.

Our Mission

The AAP Ambassadors are a dynamic team of student and parent leaders committed to promoting and representing the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning to prospective students and their families. Our AAP Ambassadors create a positive first and lasting impression, generate excitement and illustrate our core values in the college and the university.

Program Responsibilities

AAP parents will help welcome newly admitted students and their families by email and phone calls, reaching out to other interested families, promoting positive student experiences by sharing knowledge, and offering transition support. Parent ambassadors will regularly participate in ambassador training meetings in addition to one or more of the following activities: information sessions, college and recruitment events including move-in weekend, Cornell days, open houses, and panels.
