Attend an Architecture, Art, and Planning Information Session
(Registration is Required)If you are considering programs in architecture, fine arts, or urban and regional studies, we invite you to attend an AAP information session. You and your family will be able to ask questions about our programs before you begin the application process. Information sessions are offered on Monday and Friday mornings at 10 a.m. and Wednesday afternoons at 1:15 p.m. from April through November. You must register for an information session in order to attend. You may register online or by calling (607) 255-4376.
Information sessions and other university programming for prospective students will not be offered from April 5 through April 25. Prospective students should visit before or after these dates.
AAP does not offer information sessions during the peak of the application review process, December through March, but you are still welcome to stop by the admissions office to look at sample architecture portfolios and/or visit the architecture and art studios during that time.
All of the undergraduate colleges at Cornell conduct group information sessions. If you are interested in academic programs in the other colleges at the university, you are also welcome to attend their information sessions. In addition, the Undergraduate Admissions Office offers general group information sessions Monday-Saturday throughout much of the year. These general sessions provide a broad overview of Cornell and the admissions and financial aid processes.
Take a Campus TourYou can take a student-led walking tour of the university any day of the week nearly all year long. The tours last just over an hour and are designed to give you an overview of the beautiful Cornell campus.
Visit Studios and Classes at the CollegeCheck out the art and architecture studios in Olive Tjaden Hall, Milstein Hall, Rand Hall, and the Foundry, where students spend much of their time. You can talk with current undergraduates about their experiences and get their impressions of life in the college. You also can explore our programs by attending a class in a subject area that interests you. Class listings are available online and in each college's admissions office.
Take a Look at Other Cornell FacilitiesDepending on your interests, you and your family might enjoy visiting Cornell’s Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art (closed on Mondays), one or more of our many libraries or the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. You also can sample the food in our dining halls.
AssistanceIf you are a prospective student interested in visiting the campus, please call the AAP Admissions Office at (607) 255-4376 for help arranging a visit.
