Graduate Student Visits
AAP encourages all prospective graduate students interested in architecture, art, and planning to visit the campus.
To plan a visit, contact the individual departments directly.
For prospective undergraduate students considering programs in architecture, fine arts, or urban and regional studies who are planning a visit to Cornell University, please send an email to aap-admissions@cornell.edu or register to attend an upcoming information session. We do our best to meet with prospective families and connect you with a current student in your program of interest during your visit.
To plan a visit, contact the individual departments directly.
Available most Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the tours last just under an hour and are designed to provide an overview of the entire Cornell campus. Prospective students should review the calendar of walking tours very carefully before planning a visit.
A visit to the art and architecture studios in Olive Tjaden Hall, Milstein Hall, Rand Hall, and The Foundry, where students spend much of their time, is an ideal opportunity to talk with current undergraduates about their experiences and get their impressions of life in the college. Visit B56 E. Sibley Hall, The Office of Admissions & Student Services for a self-tour guide brochure.
An expanded tour of AAP can include a visit to Cornell's Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, (closed on Mondays), one or more of the many libraries, or the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, and a meal in one of the many dining halls.
