Rosita Palladino is an Italian architect, researcher, and Lecturer at Cornell AAP. Her work examines how ephemeral architecture, ritual practices, and collective labor shape civic space, moving across research, pedagogy, and design.
She is co-founder of CCCONFETTI, an open, collectively authored platform that gathers and connects dispersed cultural, spatial, and production knowledge around celebration practices. Her current research investigates ritual landscapes in Italy and the Giglio Feast of Williamsburg, NY, tracing the architectural, social, and diasporic networks through which these traditions are constructed, transmitted, and sustained.
Her recent professional work includes cultural production for the Spanish Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale and temporary architectural projects developed with Manuel Bouzas for the Festival des Cabanes and Chanel at the French Academy in Rome — Villa Medici.
She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Politecnico di Milano — with honors — and graduated with distinction from the Master in Design Studies in Ecologies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. At Harvard, she received the Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Fellowship and served as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of History of Art and Architecture. Her recognitions include the Dimitris Pikionis Award and the Design Studies Domain Award. She previously taught at Syracuse University, where she coled La F[i]ESTA, a research-based design studio exploring festivity and ephemeral architecture as forms of participatory spatial production.
