Hart Howerton Travel Fellowship

Award: $7,000 research grant plus travel stipend, paid internship, travel and housing stipend

Due: January 2026

Eligibility: Graduate and undergraduate students in Planning, Architecture (B.Arch., M.Arch.), Landscape Architecture, and Interior Design in their penultimate year of study

John Belle Travel Fellowship

Award: $10,000

Due (Internal): January 24, 2026

Due (External): February 3, 2026

Eligibility: Graduate students (M.Arch. or Ph.D.) in architecture, historic preservation, and/or urban design in their penultimate year

RAMSA Travel Fellowship

Award: $15,000 research and travel grant and optional residency program with stipend

Due: March 25, 2026

Eligibility: M.Arch. students in their penultimate year

KPF Travel Fellowship

Award: $10,000

Due (Internal): March 16, 2026

Due (External): April 6, 2026

Eligibility: B.Arch. or M.Arch. students in their penultimate year of study

RIBA Norman Foster Travelling Scholarship

Award: £9,000

Due (Internal): May 1, 2026

Due (External): May 15, 2026

Eligibility: B.Arch. and M.Arch. students who have completed at least one year of their degree

Robert James Eidlitz Travel Fellowship

Award: Varies, typically up to $5,000

Due: May 1, 2026

Eligibility: Graduating B.Arch. students; currently enrolled AAP graduate students in architecture, landscape architecture, and the history of architecture and urban development; alumni of these programs who have graduated in one of the previous five academic years 

John Shaw Travel Award

Award: Varies, typically up to $2,000

Due: May 8, 2026

Eligibility: The  Class of 1972 John Shaw Travel Award was established in Honor of John Shaw to support undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning at Cornell University. The award is intended to advance students’ architectural education by enabling opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.
