Alice Shay

Alice Shay is a city planner and urban designer with over 15 years of service to New York City and cities worldwide. As part of Buro Happold’s Cities practice, Shay leads strategic planning and transformation projects, including the Brooklyn Marine Terminal redevelopment, the EJNYC Environmental Justice Study and Plan, the Green Economy Action Plan, the Reimagine the Canals initiative, and Make Way for Lower Manhattan. Before joining Buro Happold, Shay worked with Bloomberg Associates and WXY Architecture and Urban Design, where she managed urban design and city strategy projects for cities across the US, Latin America, and Europe.
