Abstract

FLEXION is a group show including work by four graduating B.F.A. students: Carlin Dypko, Ella Grimm, Jake Tannen, and Tiffany Quen. Flexion, the action of bending a joint, can refer to an anatomical process as well as the behavior of structural elements. The show is an exploration into human ecology, where constructed environments and surreal figures work to clarify the biological and social systems we live and work within.
