Abstract

Five B.F.A. students from the graduating class of 2026 come together to exhibit select work from their thesis year. These pieces span video, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. They are united by explorations of the individual / human relationship to events happening on a planetary scale. Drawing on folklore and craft, these artists investigate the cyclical nature of contemporary issues, including ecological collapse, the rise of AI and other technology, and war.

Come celebrate at our closing reception on Friday, May 22, in Olive Tjaden Gallery!
