Tim Yuming Qi (B.Arch. '21)

Shanghai, China / Vancouver, Canada

Born in Shanghai and having spent his formative years in Canada, Tim is passionate about discovering architecture’s potential on the larger urban scale beyond a singular building. Having witnessed the power of wholesale modernization in China as a child, Tim’s designs are aware of the site, context, and culture, creating narratives that strengthen local identities.
