Onam Bisht is graduating from Cornell University with a dual degree in landscape architecture and regional planning. Her interests lie in adapting urban environments to be more resilient to increased threats from climate change and global warming while promoting equitable development and a healthier lifestyle. While participating in the AAP NYC semester in the fall, she held an internship in landscape architecture at Stantec. While at Cornell, she completed a planning internship at Deltares, based in the Netherlands, and a design fellowship at SHADE Institute, a public-interest design organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has been the recipient of several awards from the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, including the Clarence Stein Award for Urban and Landscape Studies (2019) and the Arch R. Winter Graduate Fellowship.
