Through studios led by the Strauch Visiting Critic in Sustainable Design, students and faculty are supported in their efforts to advance research and innovative design solutions associated with the consequences of global climate change, with an emphasis on environmentally sustainable methods and processes in architectural design.
A central pillar of the architecture curriculum today, the Strauch Visiting Critic in Sustainable Design was established in 2013 through generous support from Hans (B.Arch. ’80) and Roger Strauch (’78).
