Strauch Early Career Fellow

The Strauch Early Career Fellow is an annual appointment that brings emerging scholars and practitioners in architecture, art, and planning to Cornell AAP to focus on research and teaching.

Each fellow holds a nine-month appointment and works under the mentorship of senior faculty to gain the experience, skills, and knowledge critical for future academic success.

Established by Hans (B.Arch. ’80) and Roger Strauch (’78) on behalf of The Mosse Foundation, the Strauch Early Career Fellow emerged from previous Strauch fellowships in AAP’s Broadening Participation Program. Their generosity reflects a deep commitment to create more robust pathways to academic careers for early-career scholars and practitioners who pursue academic and creative excellence, equity, and justice in their work.
