Student Achievement
Student achievement is gauged through our coursework metrics, which assess students on their capacity to master qualitative and quantitative methodologies (from mapping and urban data analytics to mixed method surveying and interviewing), analyze and write professional reports, conduct rigorous evidence-based and conceptual analysis, and work across professional disciplines and modes of work. The department’s mission stands at the intersection of public policy, geospatial modeling, and evidence-based social science.
