Marlon is a writer and photographer from Los Angeles, where he currently serves as the editor at the independent press 9VT\5 and works in film production. He is interested in documentary photography, memoir, and abstract cinema. He has produced several independent feature films: Goody, a narrative feature set in Columbia, South Carolina; and Acres of Diamonds, a documentary about the Fountain Park Chautauqua in Remington, Indiana. He graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a degree in creative writing and pursued graduate studies in the history of magic and occult science at the University of South Carolina.
