Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Noll, and I am a junior here at AAP, majoring in urban and regional studies and minoring in law and society. I made a point of getting super involved in this wonderful community, starting as soon as I set foot on campus. At AAP, I am a Student Ambassador, a tour guide, a student manager at AAP IT Solutions, a Community Crew Leader, and the President of the Organization of Urban and Regional Studies (better known as OURS).

Outside of the college, I am an involved member of the Cornell Big Red Pep Band, where I was one of the Pep Conductors during my sophomore year, and the Cornell Big Red Marching Band, where I was a Special Events Coordinator, Uniform Chair, and Showcomm^2 member.

Back home, I grew up in a small city in Pennsylvania known for being a coal boomtown 100 years ago. Shamokin has raised me and my interests in planning by placing importance on what planning and strong initiative can do for a city, no matter the size.

Cornell University has shaped me by providing amazing opportunities to get involved in and around campus through planning courses such as CRP 1103 Observing the City and CRP 3170 Economic Development. These courses have given me knowledge that I have taken back home with me to do research projects and internships.

Looking ahead, I have found great interest in law school through taking courses such as CRP 5590 Land Use Law and HADM 4870 Real Estate Law. These courses have been a great intersection between my interests in planning and law.
