Kobi Ruthenberg

Kobi Ruthenberg (B.Arch., SMArchS) is a Partner at ORG and Director of their New York office. He brings over 20 years of experience in academia and practice towards strategy, design, and research projects at the intersection of infrastructure development, urban design, and regional planning for both public and private clients with a diverse global portfolio. Ruthenberg obtained his post-professional master’s in Architecture and Urbanism at MIT in 2013 and his bachelor’s in Architecture from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) in 2008. Prior to joining ORG, Kobi was a research fellow at the MIT Center for Advanced Urbanism, specializing in resiliency planning on local and regional levels, including projects in the USA, Mexico, and Ghana. Beforehand, Kobi practiced both in architecture and urban planning, in Israel and China.
