Estee Ellis is a Philadelphia-based artist and educator whose primary medium is comics. Her work engages in dynamic conversation with community and tradition, and often features personal reflections and responses to Jewish texts and learning experiences. Estee’s work has been recognized by the University of Hamburg’s Mus|Ar|t residency among others, and she holds a B.A. in Visual Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
