Della Hovanec

Della Hovanec (she/her) is an Ithaca native and comes to Cornell after 14 years in the Finger Lakes wine and cider industry. This work involved all aspects of wine / cider production and hospitality from inception to completion. Most recently, she spent five years as the Production Manager of a local cidery, where she also managed the U-Pick flowers for four seasons. She is a self-taught florist with a focus on seasonal blooms, and the use of environmentally conscious products in her arrangements.

In her free time, Della enjoys cooking, word puzzles, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family, especially if that time is spent by the water.
